Lily Crane

Our Portland Thorns writer!

Lily writes about the Portland Thorns at Cascadia FC. She also covers and commentates on Oregon Ducks sports and other high school athletics in the state of Oregon. Lily has spent the past couple of seasons as the play-by-play voice for Oregon women’s soccer in Eugene.

Lily grew up in the state of Oregon. She always admired the way the Portland Thorns have set the tone for what fandom can look like in women’s sports through building a massive following.

Most of Lily’s time consists of covering or watching various sports. In the rest of her spare time, she also enjoys hanging out with friends or her cats.
