Leroy Freeman

One of our Seattle Sounders photographers!

After getting injured at my 9–5, Leroy was out of work for six months. During that time, he saw a local photographer shoot one of his daughter’s track meets, and something clicked. He loved how the photographer froze motion and emotion in a single frame. Leroy then dusted off a camera he’d bought years ago from Costco, dove into YouTube and a few books, and got completely obsessed with the craft.

Since then, Leroy has gone from local youth games to pro matches and major tournaments like the Club World Cup. Now he helps athletes of all levels capture moments that matter.
